1) Here's the problem. The scatter shield fits the 4 speed transmission on the left. It uses 4 bolts to mount up. The corvette gear box uses 5 bolts in a very different bolt pattern. The solution is the 7075-T651 aluminum plate you see standing behind the bellhousing. (Click picture for larger view) |
